Prerequisites

To join this course, you should have some knowledge of the following:

  • deploying Azure workloads
  • security best practices and industry security requirements (defense in depth, least privileged access, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, shared responsibility, zero-trust model)
  • security protocols such as Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Internet Security Protocol (IPSec), Secure Socket Layer (SSL), disk and data encryption methods
  • Windows and Linux operating systems and scripting languages, including PowerShell and the CLI

For those without Azure administration experience, we recommend taking Microsoft Azure Administrator Course: AZ-104T00-A beforehand.
